Logo schmogo!
Logos. More often than not, they are like the plain Jane of brand representation—static, personality-lacking, and about as exciting as a lukewarm cup of tea. On the other hand, illustrations are like Picasso's stroke in the logo's paint-by-numbers kit—the life of the party!

During my freelance time at PlusOne® in Amsterdam, I regularly illustrated their logo to free my mind from the real tasks at hand. Although PlusOne's logo is all but personality-lacking, the illustrations turned out quite fun, if I may say so myself.
