You don't need
to prepare anything.

I ask the questions. You describe what you are experiencing. That is enough to establish whether there is something worth discussing further.

The first conversation takes an hour. I ask questions about the situation as it actually is — not about how you would like it to be. Together we establish whether the pattern is present. If the answer is no, nothing changes. If the answer is yes, we discuss what form the work would take.

I work with a small number of organisations at any one time. Not because the question is scarce, but because the work requires a closeness that cannot be scaled.

ABOUT BART HEIDEMAN

I work with organisations that are still functioning — but where a clear sense of direction has quietly stopped being obvious.

For the past six years, I have worked with boards and leadership teams on the questions that do not appear on the agenda but shape everything that does: what actually governs decisions here, and what has quietly stopped doing so.

My background is in strategic design and organisational identity. Over time, I found that the most important problems I encountered were not about strategy, design, or communication — but about the unspoken logic underneath all of them, and the moment it breaks under pressure.

That is the work I now do exclusively.

WHAT I AM NOT

What I produce is a single, governing principle — and the structure that allows an organisation to hold it.

I am not a management consultant. I do not produce strategy documents, restructuring plans, or market analyses.

I am not an executive coach. I do not work on individual leadership development or team dynamics.

I am not a communications advisor. I do not work on messaging, positioning, or brand narrative.

You recognise the pattern.

The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

BH

An organisation is not defined by what it says it values. It is defined by what its decisions consistently uphold.
